Quality Accreditation

Techspan Systems prides itself on committment to quality and is approved to BS EN ISO 9001:2000. The following statements outline our approach to quality management.

In 2001, BSI awarded Techspan with a "zero defects" rating on completion of a 5-year assessment of the Company's Quality Management procedures.
Our quality ethos is based on Total Quality Management: Quality is everyone's responsibility
Managers, workers and those assessing the work are technically knowledgeable and performance oriented with their primary focus on improving quality in a concerted and cost effective manner.
Quality is built in by providing every person with the right training resources and motivation to do the job right the first time.
Compliance and safety is achieved by establishing strong quality and safety programmes, ensuring that everyone benefits by providing feedback for continuous improvement.
Techspan is committed to promoting safe working practices and procedures amongst it's entire workforce, particularly in the dangerous motoway and highway environment and is an active member of the Association for Road Traffic Safety & Management (ARTSM)
Policies and objectives are clearly defined, understood and accepted. All work is assessed to ensure it meets expectations, and to identify and remedy errors and deficiencies.
Achieving quality products and services is our measure of success.

Environmental Accreditation

Techspan Systems is accredited to BS EN ISO 14001 for Environmental Management Systems. This accreditation was achieved on 22^nd September 2004.

The Company apply Environmental Procedures to all aspects of the business. Examples include:

Use of recyclable materials on products
All controlled and special wastes are kept securely and transferred only to appropriately licensed waste carriers in line with instructions in the waste disposal handbook
Recycling of general materials including toner cartridges, paper etc
Proactive approach to reducing consumption of natural resources by reducing energy used in day to day running of business, premises and amount consumed by our products.
